In the past month, I've graduated from college, gone to Anime Boston, and traveled to Japan! Now I'm just trying to get back into the swing of things; I'm working this summer doing a little bit of work at a camp. I'm going back home at the end of July to see the Symphony of the Goddesses Zelda symphony, where I will cry because it will be so beautiful. In August, I'm going to be moving from home into an apartment in the NYC area with my boyfriend, and wow, that's a huge step into adulthood! I'm still looking for a job and occasionally stressing out about that, but I'm really hoping that things work out for the best.

I will most likely be going to Connecticon for the first time this year! But only for a day. I'm going to do a Symphonia group with MahouKiyoraka and RyouShirogane for Colette, Sheena, and Zelos. And Otakon is on its way as well! I'll be cosplaying Leia from ToX2 (I've gotta start working on that in a couple weeks!), Sayaka from PMMM, and Anaru from AnoHana.

AB was a lot of fun. I stressed out the week and a half before trying to get my Sayaka costume finished while balancing it with my time at work and spending time with family for graduation. I lost a lot of sleep and had one big breakdown the last night I was trying to finish it because I was unhappy with it, but I had a great time wearing it with my friends. All together, we looked great even though we all have things to fix for Otakon. No real photos of our group because we didn't do any photoshoots, and we skipped the Madoka gathering to go get lunch (and our feet hurt), but I uploaded one shot of the four of us at the beginning of the day before we all started to fall apart. OhHeyItsSK also took photos of my Nia costume, and they look fabulous! And lastly, MahouKiyoraka took a couple pictures of me as Anaru before we fled the convention and the winds of Boston to go back home.

Oh, and Japan was awesome. Way too awesome for me to convey in a journal, but I will say that the peace sign you see characters do in anime is accurate to real life. Same with people saying "kawaii!"
