This photo is super cute, asdfghjkl; I'm really crappy at half-smiles. I feel like I look judgmental when I don't smile without flashing my teeth, LOL. We were being super goofy when doing this because hahaha cosplay is srs bzns just kidding it's all joking around and making my cosplay partners crack up when they're supposed to be serious.
I'm so glad I got to kick off 2013 with a photoshoot of one of my big-time OTPs with Unkie! We went to Baltimore and meandered around an abandoned track track and found some questionable spots safety-wise, but they were perfect for the No.6 atmosphere!
This is the third time I've worn Shion, and yet I've never worn him to a con. It's all been private photoshoots with Jade in Baltimore. Hmmm, maybe I should break him out to a con at some point. Maybe. I was convinced few people would know who I was cosplaying, but I think it's grown in popularity a bit.

and to bad you didn't got a chance to wear Shion to a convention yet ;w; cause I understand you don't want to cosplay it when nobody recognises you, cause they haven't seen the series yet, although you also don't want to cosplay it when the "hype" has passed on and everybody isn't impressed any more xD
I'd definitely like to bring him out to a convention! It'd be better if I had my Nezumi with me because I think we'd be better recognized. XD I've already got plans for this year, and it's also a pretty warm costume whereas most of the cons I go to are in the warmer months when I'm sweating through lots of layers.
and I fully agree, I also saw a nezumi cosplayer when I was at a belgian con, but for some reason, it still felt incomplete... BECAUSE nezumi and shionhave such a special bond... ;w; (actually the entire rest of the story and other characters can be deminished when I look at it now xD)
I always thought Rikiga has a little bit of a similair personality as Linebeck from The legend of zelda: Phantom Hourglass, a little bit cheaky but with his heart on the right place

I like the idea of the little library! I'd like to get a photo in a location like that sometime, but I have yet to find a local place where I could do that without attracting attention. And I have enough books for a personal library, but not enough space for it. XD
uhuh, concidering an utopic society would be hard to acchieve, this could do as a fine alternative ;w; but indeed finding the right location can be tricky... but that's always the problem and challenge
Location scouting is always a challenge, but it's exciting when you find something that works. Like...I had no idea that there was an abandoned railroad area we could be allowed to use for these photos. XD
